A highly regarded actor with great range and true breadth of experience across theatre, film/TV, variety and voice over.

Appearing in classics like The Glass Menagerie and Mrs Warren’s Profession (for Queensland Theatre) to new works such as The Wishing Well (Matrix Theatre/La Boite) and the clowning comedy show The Furze Family Variety Hour (debase productions/Brisbane Festival). 

In 2018 Helen spent the year working in the USA as a lead creator and performer of a brand new comedy/variety show called Opium at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for Spiegelworld International. 

Further highlights include Boston Marriage, The Seagull, Orphans, Man Equals Man, Long Days Journey into Night, Scapin, A Christmas Carol and Absurd Person Singular for Queensland Theatre. Also As You Like it, Rio Saki and Other Falling Debris, The Wishing Well, The Drowning Bride, Post Office Rose for La Boite Theatre company. She also toured London and the UK with Unlimited Theatre in The Moon The Moon

In 2019 Helen joined the cast of the Cheeky Cabaret produced by Brunswick Heads Picture House for Sydney’s inaugural Cabaret Festival. This year Helen is thrilled to be playing the titular role of Medea in Kate Mulvany and Anne-Louise Sarks celebrated adaptation for Myths Made Here and QPAC. 

Film and Television appearances include Sisters of War, Wanted, Australia Day and Through My Eyes alongside numerous short films and TV commercials.

Helen is the recipient of three Matilda Awards.

Helen's vocal stylings have featured in TV, Radio campaigns for clients including Tourism and Events Queensland, Instant Scratch-its, Qld Goverment, Gourmet Garden, Freedom Furniture, The Courier Mail, Griffith University, Sunshine Coast Hospital, Mantra Hotels, Sydney Tourism and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.

Helen’s warm, natural tone and innate versatility covers all reads: be it straight, character, accent, soft sell, retail, voice acting, animation, radio/tv/movie promos, corporate/documentary or phone messaging. She is able to make sense of complex scripts and always happy to take direction and edit on the fly.
